The Brown Sisters: Heather, Mimi, Bebe and Laurie - X 36 Years
Video Below
"Using an 8×10-inch view camera, American photographer Nicholas Nixon began shooting lovely black and white portraits of the Brown Sisters: his wife Bebe and her sisters, Heather, Mimi and Laurie, in 1975. They decided to make it an annual tradition and were photographed together for 36 straight years (until 2010). The blog 22 Words notes thatthey always pose in the same order: Heather, Mimi, Bebe, and Laurie. The project is called “The Brown Sisters” and in 2008, a book titled Nicholas Nixon: The Brown Sisters. Thirty-Three Years was created chronicling its first thirty-three years." - Rusty Blazenhoff, laughingsquid
